CoaXPress 2.0 standard is ideally suited for high data rate applications, enabling support of the highest resolution cameras at unprecedented fast speeds.
The further improved favorable latency behavior and minimal jitter of the original CXP standard, unmatched reliability and extended cable lengths continue to be features of CoaXPress 2.0, while the thinner, low-cost coaxial cables and improved connectors facilitate integration.
CoaXPress 2.0 boosts data transfer rates to 12.5 Gbit/s (CXP-12) per connection with the potential for 50 Gbit/s using four lanes.
All Mikrotron CoaXPress 2.0 cameras offer a scalable interface with the number of connections being switchable in a choice of 1, 2 or 4 links depending on the requirements of the application. In addition, all models are downward compatible with the original CoaXPress 1.x standard. Scalable connection speed ranges from CXP-3 to CXP-12.
EoSens® 1.1CXP2 and EoSens® 2.0CXP2
Mikrotron's EoSens® 1.1CXP2 and EoSens® 2.0CXP2 are the first CoaXPress 2.0 cameras in the celebrated EoSens® series and support the highest data rates up to 4x 12.5 Gbps (50 Gbit/s) in the 1-2 megapixel range or ROIs (Region of Interest).
Each camera offers a powerful set of flexible features for maximum performance and comes with extensive feature sets. With the 1.1CXP2 and 2.0CXP2 CXP12 cameras, Mikrotron addresses the industry’s most challenging machine vision applications such as 3D laser triangulation and laser target tracking, which require very high frame rates at reduced vertical ROI. Both cameras feature high-performance LUXIMA™ CMOS digital sensors developed for the high-speed machine vision, 3D scanning, motion analysis and industrial markets.
The EoSens® 1.1CXP2 achieves up to 1280 x 864 pixel resolution at a maximum speed of 3660 fps using 4 lanes of 12.5 Gbit/s each. Even higher frame rates are made possible by defining a region of more than 23.000 fps at 128 x 128 resolution. Thanks to its extremely high sensitivity, the camera delivers excellent images even at low exposure times.

The EoSens® 2.0CXP2 offers Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution at an outstanding data rate of 2240 fps. The camera’s extreme high sensitivity results in high-contrast images even in very low light conditions. This allows for its integration in applications where illumination and high speed transfer are crucial factors.

EoSens® 21CXP2
The EoSens® 21CXP2 combines ultra-high resolution of 21 megapixels with speeds of 230 fps. Flexible read out modes coupled with Binning makes the camera the perfect choice when resolution, speed and brilliant image quality are required.
